Set of four George II mahogany shield back side chairs. Reputed 10 Downing St. item.

These chairs belonging to Count Johann Caspar von Bothmer zu Schwegerhoff and were returned to Schwegerhoff from 10 Downing Street after his death in 1732. It is well documented that the Count died at 10 Downing Street.
