Ancient Muslem Prayer Rug.

From the Bothmer Schwegerhoff collection this rug was recently in the family museum, Germany. This holy piece used while praying to God was always in a place of honor in the Bothmer family. This holy piece was owned by Annette von Droste Hulshoff. She is considered the greatest female poetess of Germany and until recently this holy rug was kept at the side of her bed until her death.
