C.Adami's table globe of the earth, dated 1864

The globe depicting earth with countries and continents as they appeared in 1865. This library piece was a gift to the Bothmer family by the future Emperor who became Kaiser Wilhelm I of Germany. It remained in the library in Schwegerhoff until 1948 when it was removed to the Annette von Droste museum. It was removed from the museum and remained in the possession of Baroness Helene von Bothmer. The current Baron Geaorge has brought this globe to Victoria.
